On Sunday 7 April 2019, Jeff and some of our team participated in Run For The Kids. R4K is an annual event which started in 2006 and raises funds and awareness for The Royal Children’s Hospital.
It was a glorious sunny day in Melbourne and starting and finishing at Docklands, over 30,000 people enjoyed the well-organised event. Some of our team ran the 5 km, and others the 12.8 km. Both courses included running up and over the Bolte Bridge for the iconic views of the Melbourne skyline, and another highlight for all was running past The Children’s Hospital where hospital staff, patients and friends were outside cheering everyone along.
It was a great event for all, and we felt proud to help raise funds for this excellent cause.
We have a special connection to The Children’s Hospital as the son of our long-standing and valued team member Rachel, received crucial care there in his early years of life and continues to be monitored there annually.
We welcome everyone to join our R4K team in 2020!
